Note that i tested with the last SNAPSHOT, i will try to find some time to test specifically with 2.4 maybe it just means it has been fixed some way.
You could try with http://maven.xwiki.org/snapshots/com/xpn/xwiki/products/xwiki-enterprise-web/2.4-SNAPSHOT/ and see if you still reproduce.
