And the status "Installed version 4.4.1 is not valid" is for XWiki Enterprise UI right? This is normal (it's only saying that the 4.4.1 XAR is not compatible with the 4.5.1 WAR) and you should have an Upgrade button. If you don't have it then clear the browser cache and reload the web page. If the Upgrade button is still not present then take a screen shot and post it somewhere public so that we can see what you have exactly.
