First you need to replace the existing content with the dashboard
macro [1]. You can do this either from the WYSIWYG editor (Insert
Macro menu, select Dashboard, then save the page) or from the Wiki
editor (simply replace the content with {{dashboard/}} and save the
page). Then you have to edit the page in "Inline form" edit mode and
add whatever gadgets you want to the dashboard. Note that you need to
be an advanced user [2] in order to have the full Edit menu (including
the "Inline form" entry).
