This can be achieved with a Rendering Transformation, see 
http://rendering.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Transformations
And specifically the WikiWord transformation 
(http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/WikiWord+Transformation)
