I finally made it through (with 5.4.2 no less; 5.4.3 isn't available for apt)! :-D
Thank you for your help! I noticed that I was using tomcat6 on my initial install attempt and that might be why it didn't work (no out of memory exception). With tomcat7, the install completed, however, during the install, I got a lot of conflicts from a previous install and had to handle merge conflicts and so. I don't know why as I uninstalled using --purge for each attempt. I am not really sure mu current install is proper and I would like to retry it, but how do I remove the old files/documents completely? "apt-get --purge autoremove" didn't really clean out any files it seems, although I had to setup mysql password on the next install. Or maybe the conflicting files are stored somewhere else? -- View this message in context: http://xwiki.475771.n2.nabble.com/Install-interrupted-tp7589489p7589703.html Sent from the XWiki- Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xwiki.org/mailman/listinfo/users
