Hello, The pdf macro that you installed is for visualizing the pdf documents, not for transforming them into a wiki page (importing their content as a wiki page). That's what most of the extensions that you find under the "pdf" search do.
For importing a pdf document as a wiki page, you should try the office importer http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Office+Importer+Application . This application is bundled by default in recent versions of XWiki, so don't need to install anything, you'll just need to configure it properly. The documentation mentions it imports PDF documents, so it should do what you want (I personally didn't use it with pdf documents but it works fine with other office documents). Office importer application needs a running open office / libre office server installed and running on the server on which XWiki is running, please read carefully installation instructions here http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Office+Importer+Application#HPrerequisites26InstallationInstructions especially the parts about configuring the office server.
