Hi I would also be very happy if I can get this to work I have tried - and so far all in vain. I want to connect Zeppelin to an existing standalone cluster that runs spark 1.4.1. with scala 2.11 I have even tried to change the java code in the spark-interpreter to be 2.11 compliant but I had to abandon that because of the depency on 2.10 features. Using the Spark 1.4 with scala 2.10 on the Zeppelinn side with 2.11 on the cluster side also did not work due to, what appears to be marshalling problem that manifest as “Can not call methods ons a stopped Spark context” Regards Ian
