*Position: : Business Objects Reporting Analyst*
*Location: Dallas, TX*
***Duration: 6+ Months*
***Rate: $35/hr*
Description: *Implementation and testing of universes, reports, and
dashboards using Business Objects XI R.*
*This position will be responsible for accounting system reporting
requirements, development and testing.* In addition, the position will
analyze large amounts of data in multiple environments.
Partner with business unit expert liaison on data requirements, report
design and maintenance to help the organization track and other adhoc needs
as required.
Extract and transform large datasets from multiple data sources.
Support the effectiveness of controls within the business unit including
documentation of key processes and programs.
Analyze complex data and communicate observations suitable for management
*Qualifications
*** Strong technical and business reporting skills with a demonstrated
expertise in utilizing data management and reporting tools such as Business
Objects. *
* Must have experience designing and developing Business Objects Universe
integrated with Oracle database
* Experience designing databases using relational and dimensional modeling
concepts and techniques.
* Experience performance tuning for both relational and data warehouse
databases.
* Experience in Web and Crystal Reports Development
* Implementation and testing of universes, reports, and dashboards using
Business Objects XI R2
* Demonstrate strong SQL skills
* Working knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems
* Analyze and interpret results to assist business users.
* Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
* Must have hands-on experience working with Accounting Systems and
databases.
* Knowledge of secondary mortgage market.
*Implementation and testing of universes, reports, and dashboards using
Business Objects XI R.*
