Below is the complete job description. Position: Security Test Engineer Duration: 6+ months Location: North Atlanta, GA Rate: *Can NOT exceed 45/hr.* * * * * The position requires testing in a fast-paced, time sensitive project and the applicant must have the ability to quickly switch from one task to another and follow the work plan to meet project milestones. The job requires good working knowledge of the security protocols, security algorithms, testing methodologies, quality processes, and the applicant will be responsible for developing and executing test plans using technical requirements and design specifications as input. They will also be responsible for analyzing test results, performing data validation, tracking defects and providing regular status. The job requires someone who is highly skilled in using different techniques while performing testing tasks related to network, internet and web security. *Experience Requirements:* • Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience with security testing • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with Software Testing web, GUI, database and Client/Server applications on multiple platforms. • Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience with testing .Net appplications • Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience with Unix • Must possess a minimum of 5 year experience with testing UI/Web Applications. • Experience in security protocols, RSA, ECC, encryption • Experience with security appliances such as Traffic Inspection, SSL Terminator, ECDSA • Experience in AES/ECC and SSL encryption • Experience in network and web intrusion testing • Experience using Rational products (Cleacase, ClearQuest, RequisitePro) – Experience with Rational Robot and TestManager a plus. Knowledge of TFS is also a plus. • Knowledge of C, C++, C#, .NET, Java, J2EE, Web Logic a plus. • Experience with SQL (writing queries), web programming, Unix, and automated testing tools preferred. • Energy & Utilities industry knowledge a plus. • Network, RF and hardware device knowledge a plus. • An understanding of Web technologies, including architecture, server configuration, HTML, XML and web protocols. *Education:* • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant Engineering field. *Skills:* • Conceptual knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) • The individual should be self-motivated and result-oriented with a technical aptitude. Must have strong organization skills with attention to details. • Must be a team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills. • Good organizational skills and discipline are required. • Good interpersonal skills are required to interface with staff, vendors, and customers. • A logical, deductive person is necessary for this position.
