Immediate need:

Java Architect with portal technologies

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6 months

Locals ONLY

Developer (Client Server/Java/Oracle)

Develop new systems or maintain and enhance existing systems.

Partners closely with business owners & determines overall solution design

Take ownership of the overall design, and provide technical direction to the team through the execution of the project.

Dependent on actual resource requirements, familiar with technologies such as:

SQL

UNIX Platform: SQL, _javascript_, HTML

Struts, MVC, JSP, Servlets, Tomcat, Apache, Ant, Oracle, Java security, J2EE, other Java frameworks

Portal Technologies(preferably Liferay)

　

For senior level: Architectural concepts and performance tuning (On-Shore)

PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Utilities, TOAD, shell scripting

　

Additional Skillset not listed that is vital to the project:

Strong Java (J2SE & J2EE) Skills

Must have Product Development Experience

Good logical thinking, problem solving skills and short ramp up time

Co-ordinate and manage an off-shore resource
