Immediate need:
　
Perl CGI Developer
Location: San Jose, CA
Requires a strong background in Application design, documentation and implementation, on projects that may include any of the following lists of responsibilities:
CEC intranet UI templates/standards .
Extensive Experience build business dashboards and business intelligence metrics.
Development and deployment of CGI, PERL based tool releases, including building the tools and coordinating with other groups and vendors.
Architect, design and deliver system software after specification of requirements.
Define new features and resolve design issues. Develop large portions of software independently and rapidly.
Develop extensions to the existing application and system components.
Programming knowledge in CGI/PERL,HTML, eXTJS,_javascript_, Shell Scripting. Extensive hands on experience on dynamic chart generation.
Willing to learn programming languages in other technologies as needed.
Strong background in OO architecture, design and development practices, and design patterns like MVC.
Strong understanding of XML, SOAP, & Web Services
Working experience with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL a plus
Statistical Data and Business Analysis, with ability to identify trends and substantiate statistical significance of varying view points
Advanced Excel Skills, access database, graphical representations and Power Point
Proficiency with Perl, Oracle(SQL, PL/SQL) and XML script writing
Interface with multiple databases and data warehouses to generate reports, Experience with DDTS/CDETS interface
Development of recommendations with impact statements
Understanding of Engineering Development Methodologies
5+ years experience in business intelligence reporting.
Advanced skills in MS excel, XML and Data warehousing knowledge.
Strong background in software development process.
Strong problem solving and decision making skills with a strong technical aptitude
Self starting, driving change, and partnering for success
　
Strong communications skills and the ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of management.
Teamwork and collaboration in cross-functional teams
Creating and meeting and aggressive schedules
Tolerance to ambiguity
Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
