Applicants must have a minimum of 3+ year’s demonstrated experience or as a Developer on projects in large complex environments using Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007, ASP.NET Web Parts and C# .NET/VB.NET. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to interact with the client at various levels to develop strong client relationships. This is a high visibility role that will require a commitment to excellence and high standards. Candidates must have superb communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills. Candidates with demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities, adapt well to changing priorities while remaining flexible and enthusiastic will be highly considered. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Should have familiarity with all phases of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Ability to understand and follow established processes and procedures including Change Management, Work Tracking and Time Management. • Provide guidance and leadership to the team. • Carry out assigned tasks with a professional demeanour reflected in excellent written and oral communication skills, listening skills, patience, analytical reasoning and problem solving abilities. • Ability to meet timelines, milestones, and deliverables and provide timely (weekly) status updates. • Communicate technical information verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical users. • Strong customer service skills and demonstrated the ability to build professional relationships. REQUIRED SKILLS: • 3+ years experience in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007, ASP.NETWeb Parts, C# .NET/ VB.NET. • Experience with Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 - Application Development. • Knowledge of Microsoft InfoPath and Microsoft SharePoint Workflow • 5+ years working experience using HTML, DHTML, XHTML, Java Script / AJAX, CSS, XML, XLST. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management. • Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions. • Results driven mind-set as well as a proven record of meeting and exceeding client expectations. • Must be willing to work daily in the CT and/or DC area. DESIRED SKILLS: The following skills are not required, but are a plus: • Knowledge of SQL Server 2005 /2008 and experience of writing SQL queries, stored procedures and other CRUD methods. • 2+ years experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), WCF, Web Services and JQuery. • 2+ years experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO). • Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 - Application Development MCTS certification (Exam 70-541) EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Computer Science or related field preferred.
