Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration : 12+ Months ( more like 24 Months)
Start date : Immediate
Role: Senior QA Lead/QA Manager
Responsibilities: ( Need Someone Hands on)
　
* Lead and develop multi-application QA staff of 10+ individuals across globally located teams
* Maintain and improve quality assurance processes, procedures, metrics, tools and standards to management and stakeholders.
* Work closely with team members, delivery owners and BSAs to understand the requirements and ensure optimal coverage
* Responsible for functional and non functional test plan and deliverables
* Influence product requirements and release timelines as needed to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
* Review and provide feedback to improve the software development process
* Experience and passion for building great teams, mentoring and coaching staff.
* Work towards building a sustainable and scalable test automation architecture.
Skills/Requirements
* Hands on manager with strong technical background. Willing to get hands on and not always delegate work.
* Expert knowledge of QA processes, tools for test case management, test automation, test techniques and strategies and QA methodologies such as QTC, Selenium
* Experience with configuration management and release processes
* Experience with web based technologies and testing of large volume commercial grade portals preferably using JSF.
* Experience working with team on developing a scalable and comprehensive testing framework using creative and innovative approaches to test across multi language portals.
* Good awareness on the latest tools and technologies in the market and the ability to take a call on tool procurement and evaluation.
* Ability to manage on-shore and off-shore teams
* Excellent communication and persuasion skills to be a strong advocate of quality
* Track record of completing assignments on time with a high degree of quality
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast paced environment
* Programming skills (sufficient to write automation scripts, and to validate test results in a database, or through some other non-GUI and GUI based method)
* 7+ years in Software Quality Assurance, 5+ years of managerial experience
* BS(4 year degree) or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
* Professional Certifications in Quality Assurance and Project Management a plus
