Immediate need:

 

Title:  Sr. SQA ENGINEER

 

Location: Near SFO, CA

 Skills: 

·        Strong Unix skills required

·        Proficiency as well as experience in XML, Java, Python and PL/SQL required

·        Complete and thorough knowledge of the SDLC and testing methodologies

·        Proficient in relational databases technologies like Oracle

Experience with multi-tiered e-commerce systems

·        Experience in testing e-commerce applications

·        Experience in writing PL/SQL, Java, Shell and Python or Perl scripts to automate testing tasks

·        Experience using Oracle databases

·        Experience with automated testing tools (Silk highly desirable)

·        Experience in developing tools/scripts to aid in testing client/server and Web applications

 

Responsibilities:-

·         Possess expert level domain and technical knowledge of systems/areas assigned to you.    

·        Work with your peers on the development teams to constantly improve testability of projects in your area of responsibility

·        Determine appropriate number of test iterations for projects in your area of responsibility and apply risk-based testing concepts to accomplish a comprehensive test coverage

·        Proactively come up with innovative methods to constantly improve quality, test coverage, efficiency and regression coverage thru automation for projects in your area of responsibility

Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk
