Sr Technical Project Manager

 

Job description:

 

1.       Excellent Understanding of N-tier architecture based enterprise systems (including Portal, MW & Integrations, Backend), and experience in managing such projects.

2.       Proven experience in handling & managing Agile / Iterative projects.

3.       Experience in working and coordinating with globally distributed teams.

4.       Proven ability to work with all Team leads to ensure the Project plan is complete and encompasses all the aspects.

5.       Own an up-to date MW & Backend project plan including QA & Infrastructure dependencies.

6.       Proven ability to follow-up and set the right expectation with team members to enable successful completion of projects.

7.       Proven ability to provide metrics and facts on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to measure Project status, SLAs, impact to consumers & other teams, slippage, productivity, bug trends, process gaps etc.

8.       Proven ability to track all project dependencies (Dev, QA, Instances, SCM) with various teams and proactively bring visibility to risks along with mitigation plans.

9.       Technically sound (at a design/architecture level) and be able to logically & technically analyze problems to bring visibility.

10.   Proven ability to ask the right questions & involve the appropriate members to ensure there is no communication gap.

11.   Ability to detect process gaps, and propose appropriate optimizations to bridge the gap.

12.   Prior experience working in a Java/J2EE based development team building N-tier enterprise applications – Highly desired.
