*Network TEST Engineer* Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6-12 Months+ *Required Experience and Skills: * • 6+ years of strong development/test experience • Deep knowledge of Cisco products (Cisco Unified Communications Manager, IOS gateways, Cisco Unified Border Element) and/or 3rd party IP PBX like Microsoft, Nortel, Avaya, etc. • Expertise in SIP and ISDN trunking • Experience in reading traces (SIP and ISDN), capturing traces and capturing debugs off the PBX. Knowing Wire Shark, etc. • Expertise in troubleshooting • Consistently strives to improve productivity • Aggressive desire and ability to learn new technologies and products • Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and have a flexible, positive attitude. • Must work well with team members, acting as a mentor to other engineers, helping to motivate and solve problems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience in Cisco networking and voice networking a plus • Experience in Video and VDI is a big plus *Seeks a highly motivated Software QA Engineer with the following primary responsibilities: * • Design, build and strategize testing for new products as well as regressing products for interoperability • Design test topologies and building of test beds. • Develop test plan, test cases and application notes for field sales and customer use. • Initiate and participate in efforts to improve group productivity and test effectiveness • Participate in task/project scheduling, and test process definition/improvement • Participate in cross-functional, cross-BU test effort • Mentor and train Junior Engineers. • Troubleshooting on Cisco products and 3rd party products.
