*Senior Developer with E3 competency level San Francisco, CA 12 Months* You will be joining the Enterprise Mobile Application team, a global team focused on developing iOS (iPhone/iPad) apps for use across Roche's global span. On this team, you will be one of our Usability / User Experience Designers, connecting our developers with the needs of our global users. You will be working under the direction of the Manager, Enterprise Mobile Apps team and our senior Usability Expert. You will work directly with users, producing Interaction and Visual Designs/Reports - and the engineers, and software testing staff responsible for using them, in a highly collaborative environment. User Research responsibilities includes: Structure, schedule and execute Usability Testing, including initial consultation, designing the study, interviewing, analysis and report writing. This requires extensive personal interaction with internal customers across the company. Translating user research insights into actionable knowledge that will impact design. The ability to define, build and manage a sustainable base of knowledge that informs design and business decisions. You will produce Usability Reports, Usability Risk Reports and design guidance for use by developers, testers and management. You will present these reports and answer questions about the methodology, results and insights. Quickly build rapport with participants and be able to frame questions that get to the root of the problem without leading or influencing the participant.
