Title: Front end / Digital Architect Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 6+ Months Digital Architect ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: 1. Develop, understand and guide the implementation of standards- compliant client side interactive experiences on desktop & mobile sites utilizing JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, and integration of web services and 3rd party APIs. 2. Blend technical experience with strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly describe problems and solutions to both business and technical partners. 3. Identify and document constraints, risks, and assumptions needed to help ensure the business requirements are met by the proposed technical solution. 4. Assist both developers and project managers with proposing appropriate technology solutions to meet business needs while ensuring they’ll work within the constraints 5. Prepare and present technical solutions to partners. SKILLS REQUIRED: MINIMUM "Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) preferred "3-5 years interactive development work experience "Advanced coding in HTML, JHTML, XML/XSLT, CSS, and JavaScript (JSON, jQuery, YUI, and non-framework). "Experience developing desktop & mobile experiences with APIs "Mobile application development background desired "Experience with wiki platforms (i.e., MediaWiki, Confluence), bug tracking tools (i.e., JIRA) desired. "Experience establishing repeatable processes, frameworks, and development standards "Creation of technical design documentation and comprehensive functional specifications DESIRED "Related work experience in web/software development "2-3 years project or team leadership experience "Experience in : Information Architecture, Interaction Design, server- side development.
