This person will join an energetic team and a changing organization. Typically works on multiple, complex, corporate initiatives simultaneously. The .Net/Kentico Software Developer will be responsible for the installation, performance, support and maintenance of all Kentico and .NET-based Enterprise CMS Applications. The qualified candidate also maintains and administers Kentico CMS for production and development environments. The candidate will perform and test routine Kentico backups and restores. Work with customer and developers to design and develop Kentico functionalities that meet business requirements. Work with development team to design, develop, and implement Web-enabled applications using ASP .NET 3.0 / 4.0, JavaScript, Visual Studio 2008/2010, Microsoft Team System, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML, basic Java script and other Microsoft-based technologies for implementation within the Kentico CMS platform. The position also requires strong communication skills, a deep commitment to end-user satisfaction and ability to create and drive process improvement where it is needed. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Include the following. Other duties may be assigned: •Implement requirements defined by the business in a collaborative fashion with a high degree of quality. •Performs all aspects of programming assignments and assists Solutions Architect with future systems design and integration. •Works on one or more projects as the technical project team member or occasionally as a project leader. •Understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies and how to leverage them to drive continual process improvement. •Provide leadership on projects while leading the technical specification phase of internal and external applications based on business requirements. •Work with Business Analysts, SMEs and other project team members to deliver first in class applications with a strong focus on quality. •Assists in creating enterprise level application and custom integration solutions. •Provide tier-3 support for troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in production systems. •Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business. •Ability to create, document and execute unit tests prior to releasing code. •Develop custom Kentico web parts. •Develop custom web applications. •Determine development time lines. •Write functional specifications. •Serve as a technical expert in areas relevant to the project. •Demonstrate experience in conducting analysis and developing solutions and in the application of information technology. •Produce and review technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of specific technical area. •Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes to increase efficiency. *Desired Skills & Experience:* COMPETENCIES listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
