You will develop and must have experience developing tools and applications to create lots of different types of visual reports and dashboards, using graphs, charts, creative visualizations from vast amount of data. These visualizations will be used for business analysis for groups all over the world. You will work with top UI Designers, and the latest high-tech front-end web applications developers too. We are looking for someone who thrives on change and learning new ways and new technologies; and someone that is a strong developer and knows how to function well in a start-up mentality environment. The things that you design and implement will make changes and make a difference for the Client, you will affect their future. Job Requirements: - Must have strong core Java, J2EE, JBOSS, EJB, JMS, Servlet, JSP - Experience working with very large Oracle databases, and doing SQL queries (ex. 15-20 TBs of data with fast response times) - Deep understanding of web application design - The ideal candidate will have Tenacity! This, along with good communication skills is a must (must be able to boil down complex situations and be able to articulate them to a broad audience) - Have knowledge about systems and systems integration ("systems oriented" rather than module or program oriented) - Experience in Spring, Struts - Experience in Model View Controller (MVC) distributed architectures - Experience with Oracle SQL, Stored Procedure, and PL/SQL - SQL knowledge for CRUD operations as well as more complex joins for reporting - Experience with Shell scripting is required - Proven track record is developing applications that are used by many people, within the company or outside, i.e. the application is sent out and used by other departments.
