* Position : SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER Location: * Brooklyn, NYC Duration: Long term JOB DESCRIPTION : • Plan, design, develop/ implement, test, and document application code/configuration in adherence to functional and non-functional (performance, scalability, security, usability) business requirements • Estimate of development effort • Develop and architect N-tier solutions • Participate in code reviews • Partner with QA staff • Ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management and security policies * Qualifications:* • 7+ years of application development experience on large development projects using N-tier architectures • 5+ years Java/J2EE end to end development experience • Ability to deliver high quality product and lead development on demand in all application tiers • Strong working knowledge in OO design and design patterns • Very strong working experience using JSP, Servlets, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Jibx, Axis2, JSON • Working experience in JSF • Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, Dojo, HTML, CSS, and XML • Working knowledge of RDBMS, and proficiency writing/tuning SQL • Experience setting up, managing, and fostering use of testing frameworks and tools • Experience in debugging and performance tuning • Ability to design and implement high quality, scalable and flexible technical solutions * Desirable Skills* • Experience with DB Oracle 11g • Financial services industry experience (institutional and retail business knowledge) • Experience with agile and automated testing frameworks (TDD) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
