Senior QTP Test Lead Location: Jersey City, NJ *(Phone then face/face)* Duration: 6-18 months+ *· **Must be able to customize QTP using VB Script. *** *· **Hands on experience in Descriptive Programming and writing VB Script *** Work proficiently using HP Quick Test Pro and Quality Center. Create automation test script based on provided Manual test cases Conduct regression testing as needed. Participate in Manual test execution and Planning Generate Automation test plans and test scripts to test all parts of the applications. Execute the test Cases and record the results of the tests. Communicate test results to QA Management and IT development staff within the relevant departments. Work with the QA and IT development (programming) staff to ensure that changes required as a result of the tests being run and communicated are developed and that any questions arising from the developers are answered in a timely and - accurate fashion Gain approval both to correctly categorize any errors found as a result of tests (e.g. launch critical / non launch-critical), and to sign off that tests have been successfully completed. Be able to be very flexible and switch projects quickly in this fast paced environment. Work well with a variety of Test Leads, Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers etc. Be able to adapt to customized keyword/object driven automation processes. Work daily with offshore team members who will require guidance and leadership.
