Major Purpose of Job:
To design, develop, test, implement, document and support SharePoint
business applications (SharePoint 2013/2007) based on user requirements
under the direction of a Project Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
- Experience developing the following components:
- Custom web parts and workflows using Visual Studio and
*SharePoint*Designer.
- Custom forms using Visual Studio and InfoPath Client.
- Features (e.g. for creating content types, lists, libraries, etc.).
- Timer jobs.
- Experience creating solution packages in tools such as Visual Studio,
WSPBuilder.
- Excellent understanding of various *SharePoint* iterations (2007,
2010, 2013).
· Branding: master page creation, page layouts, CSS settings,
themes, logo design, XSLT, HTML, CAML, XML, ribbon customization.
· Extensive SharePoint Designer Experience with Data Form Web
Parts, XSLT, Workflow
· Should have .NET 4.5 development experience
· Ability to work with the client object model using client side
development technologies such as JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, ASP.NET, ADO.NET.
· Good discipline with post-deployment testing
- Must have the ability to work independently within a small team and
follow through on tasks
- Independently troubleshoot and research challenging problems
- Work with end users and manage requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
