In addition, this person will be required to provide after hours support, 24 x 7 on a rotating basis.* *Qualifications:* · Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field. · In-depth Data Warehouse design and implementation (5+ years). · Business Intelligence Software Development and Administration: · Cognos 10, Business Objects 4.1, Information Server, QualityStage 8.5, Data Manager 10. *Responsibilities:* · Interviews customer and gathers requirements. · Provides Data profiling, data cleansing, data validation, data standardization, data transformation. · Provides systems analysis, data analysis and proposes appropriate solutions. · Develop scripts and/or applications to integrate components needed for a complete solution. · Provides knowledge transfer and technical support to other programming team members. · Prepare, analyze, and design system requirements throughout the data warehouse implementation. · Identify data sources and determine common data definitions across user groups. · Perform design and implementation of data warehouse schema and cubes. · Review data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy. · Perform database design, database architecture, and metadata creation. · Provide technical consulting to users of the data warehouse and advises users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage. · Monitor usage of warehouse to identify potential capacity overloads.
