*Libertyville, Illinois **Client: **VW Credit* *Interview: Telephonic and **face-to-face* *Long Term* ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, enhance and maintain VCI’s Data Warehouse solutions and assisting in critical support issues Translate business and technical requirements into appropriate data models Proficiency in business analysis, event modeling, data modeling, logical and physical database design, data acquisition analysis and design, data access analysis and design, DBMS optimization, archive and recovery strategy, load strategy design and implementation, security, and change management Apply performance tuning solutions to existing processes where applicable Mentor application ETL developers in Data Warehouse application development and Informatica implementations Apply innovative approaches to solving design and technical issues Experience Ten years in IT; expert experience in technical leadership and database design, administration and support experience, including demonstrated experience working with structured methodologies and participating in the design and development of large-scale applications in a distributed computing environment Expert experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse architecture, implementation, and use Expert experience with Informatica ETL Architecture and development Expert experience with relational database platform architecture, design, administration and support Experience with developing data models to fulfill business and technical requirements Experience with metadata and associated concepts Experience with monitoring and analyzing production database platforms Experience with Data Warehouse source system converstions Technical Skills Strong experience with Oracle relational database management system. Experience with Sybase and MS SQL Server a plus. Informatica ETL development expertise Enterprise Data Warehousing Modeling tools: ER Studio (or equivilant).
