New York, NY Duration **: 3 to 6 months*
*Required Skills:*
• Demonstrated skill performing business analysis on large
multi-business constituency projects
o Must be able to perform requirements analysis and write
Business Requirement Document (BRD) including
Scope Statement, Current-state analysis, Proposed State
Analysis, Gap and Impact Analysis, Work
flow diagrams, Business process flow diagrams, Use Cases
(RUP standard preferred), and Risk Assessments)
o Experience performing business/functional analysis in the
following business areas
• Demonstrated success performing functional analysis on large
multi-business constituency projects
o Must be able to conduct functional analysis, fully engineer a
viable solution and write Functional Specification
Document (FSD) including (Logical data flow diagrams,
Application Input/output Data definitions, Work flow
diagrams, Process flow diagrams, Screen Specifications,
and User Interface design)
o Must have the ability to engineer a complete solution for
design and modeling new applications as well as
system enhancements.
• Ability to critically analyze information and make sound
judgments and recommendations
• Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate technical and
non-technical terms, based on the audience
and stage of project life cycles, to ensure mapped
solutions satisfy business problems and opportunities
• Must have strong communication/presentation skills. Proven
ability to communicate effectively across
technology, business community and senior management
• Must be highly detail oriented, demonstrate excellent
organizational skills and excellent follow-through
skills
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and manage multiple
initiatives at the same time
• Experience in writing Technical Specification Document
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio
• Hard working, self-motivated, demonstrate a high level of
initiative, assertive, versatile and flexible
• Must be able to work independently and follow through on all
aspects of responsibilities
*Business Experience & Education:*
• BS/MS/MBA (Engineering, mathematics, MIS, computer science,
economics, accounting, finance)
• 8+ years of progressive work experience in
business/functional analysis including large multi-business
constituent projects
• 8+ years of progressive work experience in financial industry
• Business Analyst certification a plus
• Consulting experience a plus
