Please help to fill below requirement:- Data Warehouse Analyst Houston, TX 6 months + Phone & Skype Maintenance and support of applications developed using *Oracle PL/SQL* and Unix. · Get knowledge transfer of the warehouse application to understand the current functionality. Get up to speed on gaining functional and technical knowledge of the enrollment, billing, swap, correspondence, re-instatement, in-bound & out-bound market transaction process, and any other adhoc processes. · Provide primary production support of the Northeast warehouse system application. This includes the following: o Troubleshoot and resolve production tickets created and assigned by the North-east business team through root cause analysis. o Analyze the Oracle PL/SQL or Unix code to pin-point the issue. o Analyze the data in the Oracle tables if the issue pertains to data. o Plan the steps for the fix, estimate the duration, communicate it to team lead, document the steps, and then start working on it right away o Code, unit test, system test, and regression test the fix and then deploy it in UAT environment. Or create and test the SQL script to fix the data issue. o Support and assist business team with UAT of the fix. o Deploy the fix to production o Verify data/monitor batch jobs to make sure fix was successful o Fulfill ad-hoc requests for enrolling new customers, applying price changes, applying swap changes, and so on. · Monitoring of the batch processes. · Trouble-shoot and address job failures as soon as possible. · Work with ControlM off-shore group on re-run/re-start instructions of failed jobs. · Willingness to perform this off hours during weekdays and weekends. · Willingness and co-operation in working in a fast paced environment. · Work effectively in a team environment. Develop strong working relationship with the business team and individuals at all levels of client, such as other IT groups, Operations, and Project Management team. · Communicate status and escalate issues as early in the process as possible. · Use analytics skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly. *Experience: * · 12+ years of experience in Software development · 7+ years of experience in Oracle 10g or 11g · 7+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development · 5+ years of experience in Unix shell script development · 5+ years of experience in a Data Warehouse environment · 2+ years of development work in a de-regulated utilities business in Texas is a plus -- *Please only reply to my official ID [email protected] <[email protected]>* Sam (Saurabh Gaur) Sage Group Consulting Inc.
