*Job Title: *Salesforce Technical Architect *Duration: * Starting at 6 months *Worksite location:* Boston, MA *CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE EXPEREINCE IN THE FOLLOWING:* He needs someone that has done a project taking two instances, in this case its one larger than the other and combining the two for a single view (they have PM, biz analysts and developers working on this project). He wants that experience spelled out or he wont even speak to them, so please when qualifying candidates make sure they have merged two instances and where and when they did it. Have them play it up on the resume if its not spelled out. He wants an Architect that is a Senior Developer to do Design, build and coding at Architect level. They will take these two different databases to work through the logic to combine them, its 2 different hierarchies with different structures and there will be some overlap, but collisions and they have to build an optic model of each of the fields associated with it and map out how integrations and applications should be structured. Technical Architect Contractor *Position Overview:* The technical architect is the ultimate owner of the overall solution for the Single View project at Northeastern University and is responsible for successful implementation of the project from a technical perspective. The technical architect will coach the team and use the team members to design and develop the project deliverables. The architect will be responsible for identifying technical risks early in the project and find ways to work around them during the implementation. This job role requires relevant hands on experience with Salesforce.com, specifically as applies to combining multiple Salesforce organizations into a single unified customer view. *Duties and Responsibilities:* · Responsible for the overall technical approach and overall design of the application and mapping business requirements to systems/technical requirements. · Designs technical end to end solutions for business processes using Salesforce.com, Communities/Customer Portal and Force.com platform. · Perform high level design, scoping and estimation. · Works with other technical team members representing back office application to design seamless integration between all the involved applications. · Extensive integration experience with ETL and back-end aggregation tools. · Hands on experience building custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, API, Salesforce Objects, Salesforce API and Webservices, CTI, Knowledge, Social, and Visual Workflow. · Involved from start of the project through the deployment and will actively participate in requirements gathering, design, development, validation/testing and deployment of the project. · Works with business analysts and functional leads to combine business processes into a single, seamless view. · Provides mentoring and guidance to other team members. · Provides advice on best practices and approaches to the functional and technical team. · Provides best practice recommendations, for merge, and for development in merged environment, keeping in mind key functional goals. *Qualifications:* Self-motivated with a proven track record in technologies. Must be comfortable in dynamic, fast paced environment. Must be organized/analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, mentor other technical resources, and coordinate overall technical aspects of project. Must have excellent oral and written communications skills and be able to deliver effective presentations to technical and executive audiences. Additional preferred qualifications are: · BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or comparable discipline · 15+ years of technical experience, 3+ at an Architect level or higher. · 5+ years of software development experience with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects. · 5+ years of relevant technical experience in Salesforce.com and related technology. · Proven experience with at least one successful merge of two or more similarly complex Salesforce instances. · Has one or more of the following certifications, Salesforce.com Certified Advanced Developer (Dev 401), Certified Technical Architect, Dev 501, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud Consultant, Force.com Developer. · Strong knowledge of enterprise issues related to IT architecture. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
