GeorgiaGov Interactive, a department within the Georgia Technology
Authority, is hiring for the position of UI/UX web strategist.
 About Georgia Technology Authority:The Georgia Technology Authority (GTA)
currently manages the delivery of IT infrastructure services to 85
Executive Branch agencies and managed network services to 1,400 state and
local government entities, including mainframes, servers, service desk, end
user computing, disaster recovery and security. The Portal division, of
which GeorgiaGov Interactive is a part, is a services division that
provides application development, data systems, and web platform services
to state entities.

About GeorgiaGov Interactive:The GeorgiaGov Interactive team manages and
supports a custom Drupal web platform used by over 60 state agencies. The
team provides migration services for new agencies, support and training to
existing agencies, as well as continual enhancements to the Drupal
platform. GeorgiaGov interactive also manages the Georgia.Gov portal, and
social media properties for georgia.gov. The GeorgiaGov team is committed
to providing innovative web services to its constituents. A redesign of
Georgia.gov launched in 2012 was the first state portal site to use an
adaptive layout. Currently, the team is rolling out responsive website

*Position Summary:*
As our UI/UX Web strategist, you will ultimately wear many hats, working
with a small team to manage the state Drupal platform and support
customers’ growing needs. You will look at analytics statistics, conduct
small usability studies, and follow web and mobile trends to determine and
design areas for improvement on the platform. You may serve as the primary
point of contact for a portion of the agency customers to assist in their
business needs, and work with them to find solutions to any new website
needs.The best candidate for the UI/UX Web Strategist is someone with a
passion for best practices in usability and accessibility for the web
across all devices. You should be regularly reading about the industry and
thinking of how we as a state can lead by example within the realm of
website solutions. You should be a team player, and enjoy working closely
with others to report, research, and explore solutions to challenges.
*Responsibilities Include*
•User Experience expert for the state Drupal platform
•Front end theming for platform websites
•Information Architecture and wireframe design
•Be a backup to the liaison in managing a set of websites customers and
GeorgiaGov
•Articulate and present suggested improvements for the team, and to back up
suggestions with research
•Work with Developers to provide front-end requirements for design changes,
and fully test and review all changes prior to deployment.

*Required Skills*
•A bachelors degree is preferred, along with 3+ years of digital experience
•A deep understanding of user experience
•HTML5 / CSS 3 experience
•Core design skills: typography, layout, color, grid systems, visual
communication and hierarchy, interaction design
•Understanding in designing for multiple devices and responsive web
•Experience working with multiple browsers (tablet/mobile, etc.)
•Ability to create wireframes and detailed mockups
•Detail-oriented, creative, collaborative
•Strong communication skills
•Self-motivated
•Ability to work both independently and within a team
•Technical aptitude and strong problem solving skills are expected.
•Have a collaborative approach to working with the internal team and with
agency partners

Title        : Information Technology Productivity Support Coordinator
Duration  : 7 Months(12/15/2014 - 06/30/2015)

Rate       :  $25/Hr c2c all inclusive

*JOB Description:*
The Information Technology Productivity Support Coordinator will support
the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities
DBHDD team members of the  Georgia Collaborative Team, made up of the
Assistant Chief of Staff, Chief Information Officer, Program Project
Director and Project Management Office. The individual selected for this
position will be a key liaison and valuable partner among members of this
team.  The position will be involved in supporting a wide variety of
projects, collecting and organizing information and data, scheduling and
organizing meeting and creating presentations and reports.  Advanced
information technology productivity skill competencies are required using
these tool sets:  1.  Building out SharePoint collaboration sites, Share
Point calendar maintenance and updating,  and defining document meta data
and workflows in SharePoint;  2.  Advanced PowerPoint presentation (help
team develop and refine presentation message – critical thinking / audience
consideration);  3.  Intermediate level Excel competencies;  4. Provide
hands on one on one training of these technology to members of the team who
need mentoring in these areas.  Individual needs to possess a “can do
spirit”,  be able to take initiative, and be able to facilitate scheduling
and re-scheduling meetings with members of the team and executive
leadership of department.
To be a good fit for this Information Technology Productivity Support
Coordinator opportunity the individual  will have:
•A bachelor’s degree or some college is preferred.
•A minimum of 5 years of executive level administrative support experience.
(experience with scheduling large meetings, obtaining rooms, and
coordinating working lunches,  insuring audio/visual equipment operational
for meetings, vendor invoice management)
•Proven project coordination experience.
•Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
•Demonstrated experience supporting a large department through
multi-tasking and managing work flow.
•Advanced skills with Microsoft productivity tools (WORD, EXCEL,
PowerPoint, ONENOTE, SharePoint
