LIVINGSTON, NJ 6 MONTHS + PHONE & In-person $50-55/hr The .Net Developer will be the technical point of contact for the development and deployment of several applications. Activities will span a variety of technical areas including application development, configuration & support. This role will require flexibility, communication and coordination skills as well as a strong financial & technical acumen. The candidate will be required to: - Serve as the technical resource for projects; including reporting progress and status to the development and project manager - Design and code to create functionally complex but user friendly web based applications - Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation - Create technical specifications and test plans - Identify, design and implement any required data extracts, loads, reports, etc. - Coordinate with external platform vendor to install software and patches, and to resolve technical/performance issues, as necessary - Coordinate between internal technical teams such as Windows, Web Services, Database, Mid-Tier, for infrastructure set up and integration testing tasks and ensure all tasks are tracked to completion - Learn application configuration capabilities and set up initial configurations as necessary to support platform implementation and user acceptance testing - Fill out any needed documentation for elevation of code to UAT and Production environments - Work with business partners to define data needs for user acceptance testing - Follow project management and SDLC disciplines to insure structured and effective implementation - Identify and document production support requirements and operational procedures for on-going maintenance of the platform Required Skills and Experience - Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree is a plus. - Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience as a senior .net developer in a corporate environment with technologies (ASP.net, C#, VB.net, WCF, WWF, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and Visual Studio) - Minimum 7 years of experience with SQL Server Databases including related ETL products and techniques - Ability to implement third party components (Devexpress preferred) - Strong skills in examining design and code for performance improvement - Minimum 5 years experience working in a structured SDLC project management environment - Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically working with financial systems - Ability to work with multicultural teams and geographically dispersed teams in multiple time zones - Relevant software skills, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project and Visio. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities - Strong verbal/written communications skills - Must have strong problem solving abilities - Ability to work as part of a team - Experience with middleware technologies is a plus - Experience with accounting principles is a plus Skills: Microsoft SQL Server: Guru ASP.NET: Intermediate MS SQL Server Reporting Services: Intermediate MS SQL Server Integration Services: Intermediate .NET: Guru *Sam (Saurabh Gaur)* *Sage Group Consulting Inc.* *Direct Number*: *732-784-6489* *Office: 732-767-0010 Extn: 604* -- *Please only reply to my official ID [email protected] <[email protected]>* Sam (Saurabh Gaur) Sage Group Consulting Inc.
