*downtown Des Moines, IA * *40 All inclusive C2C hourly rate **12 month contract starting in January....* Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Experience with distributed systems/servers – small to mid-sized systems. Understanding of Microsoft Windows patching concepts. Looking for a candidate to help with tracking operating system patching efforts across multiple areas. Support Program / Project Manager including but not limited to (data analysis, facilitate meetings, and maintain progress reports). Update and maintain a monthly patch plan and develop an audit process for automated reporting. Maintain a strong level of detail and the ability to maintain multiple project streams concurrently. Position will require manual system lookups of servers on a daily basis for audit purposes in addition to automated lists. Strong proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
