Must go onsite to get an understanding of their environment – this candidate will get the job.* Cintas is currently looking for a Systems Engineer Level 3-Networking Security for the Enterprise Services team within IT. The Systems Engineer Level 3-Networking Security is responsible for: researching advanced technology trends in area(s) of expertise; identifying emerging trends and initiating research projects for team members; designing innovative solutions using new technologies; recommending short-term alternatives when appropriate; creating prototypes and leading initial development and testing through to production; defining enterprise-wide scoped SLAs to ensure requirements are met or exceeded; escalating problems as required based on SLAs; developing client satisfaction and capacity planning metrics; coordinating assessment of emerging technologies typically as the lead subject matter expert; evaluating and recommending new projects or tools for the organization; overseeing cost benefit analysis and presenting options to management teams; assisting in the resolution of support issues escalated by senior operations or development personnel; providing technical expertise across business functions; articulating relationship between business and the data and technology that support the business; identifying opportunities to improve business processes via new technologies; making recommendations and influencing long-term technology strategy and planning for multiple business units; assisting in development of RFPs and responses to new business opportunities; acting as subject matter expert to various project teams; determining dependencies and prerequisites; creating CRFs for assigned tasks and ensuring CRFs are approved in accordance with project timeline; and defining production readiness and transition acceptance criteria and ensuring criteria are completed before new system implementation. - High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in IT discipline is preferred - Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology - Minimum 5 years of experience with data security technologies - Minimum 5 years of experience with Cisco routing and switching solutions - Minimum 2 years of experience with converged solutions (VoIP, Video) - Advanced level troubleshooting for networking solutions - Experience with Cisco wireless solutions - Experience with Cisco ASA, ACS, NAC, VPN, SSL - Experience with F5 dynamic load balancing, preferred - Project Management experience, preferred - Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCDP, CCNP, CCIE), preferred. · · · · There are multiple projects where a networking resource is needed to provide guidance and direction. · · - Storage LifeCycle: The Server/Storage is evaluating a new vendors, and a networking resource would be part of the project to address the networking/data security concerns and issues. · - Intranet LifeCycle: The Intranet is undergoing a makeover, and all the networking components have to be evaluated and understood to ensure that the design works and doesn’t cause unintended consequences. · - eCommerce Realization: new design for customized internet websites that has integration to backend databases and the phone system for screen pops. · - DR Exercise: We are in the planning mode for the annual Cintas DR exercise, and need a network resource to ensure all connectivity concerns are addressed and met. · - BW Utilization & Performance Measuring: Construct metrics and measurements to evaluate the consumption on the network and be in a position to predict future network requirements based upon application requirements. · · · These are just a few of the projects.
