Responsibilities & Required Skills: The consultant would be responsible for administration of VMware 5.5, SRM, VEEAM backup and VMware native replication. The Environment is 700+ VMware guest machines located in two data centers. Familiarity with Cisco UCS servers and EMC Storage and replication (VMAX, VNX, XtremIO, RecoverPoint, AppSync) is a plus. The customer is also looking to implement automation and software-defined technologies such as VMware vRealize Automation Suite and EMC ViPR. The ideal candidate would be someone with 7-9 years of VMware experience who's worked in a small to mid-size environments, that has been responsible for architecture, build and administration, and still has the drive and self-motivation to learn new technologies.
