Need of a Project Manager for a client on Long Island.
Needs to be a strong PM with experience in delivering retail applications
in a global environment (ex: point of sale, workforce management, crm,
etc.).
The project is initially signed off for 3 months however they are
interested in someone who could extend.

Project Management Core Responsibilities
- Create and execute project work plans
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
- Reviews deliverables, both internal and vendor, prepared by team
before passing to client
- Ensures vendors are accountable and delivering against their project
commitments
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
- Minimizes our exposure and risk on project
- Manage changes to the project scope, which impact schedule, budget or
resources through strict change control
- Manage interdependencies (internal & external)
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored
appropriately
- Project Accounting
- Ensure project funding processes are completed
- Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
- Manages project budget and changes
Experience
- Evidence of Retail experience on comparably sized projects
- Experience of managing relationships and deliverables in a
multi-vendor service migration project
- Experience in delivering projects within time and budget
- Experience of having worked for a similar large scale organization in
a highly matrix managed environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Methodical in approach
- PMI and/or ITIL certification (desirable)
Must have experience delivering Retail Operations Solutions including POS
solutions, workforce management, CRM, and core merchandising (any
combination of these)
