*6 month plus project* *$70/hr on c2c* *Must have petrochemical or manufacturing experience* Must have responsibility for project planning resource allocation for SAP Projects and business projects. PMP Certification. Must have longevity in resume Ideal candidate would come from companies like; Exxon, DuPont, and Hunt. The candidate needs to have worked with resource manager and IT leadership The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with steering team The candidate must have knowledge of detail tracking and planning Reporting to the IT Project Delivery team, this position will be responsible for the leadership and management of SAP and Non-SAP project implementations. The first potential project will include leading and managing the scoping and design for phase I of a Master Data Management project. This position also ensures the successful transfer of knowledge from the project team to the post-implementation support organization and all employees affected by the implementation. This is a position of influence, negotiation and expectation management: Maintains complete autonomy for the management of the business project to meet the needs of the business, as outlined in the business case and articulated by the steering committee Coaches and mentors project team members Maintains and controls the project budget, schedule and resources Responsible for project planning, resource allocation, steering committee leadership and team organizational structure management Responsible for project communications Manages project scope, risk and issue resolution Responsible for quality of project deliverables Responsible for ensuring that the project can deliver the benefits outlined in the business case and that it meets the reasonable expectations of end users Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or related field. MBA a plus. 10 to 15 years of IT and industry related experience with large, global organizations. A minimum of 8 years in a project management role, managing medium to large global teams. Experience managing medium to large SAP projects. Experience working on Manufacturing IT projects. SAP Supply Chain or other SAP Domain experience a plus, (SAP MDM, SAP R/3, BW, APO, SRM modules, S&OP).
