This is Viveka from Apttech Solutions Here we have an urgent requirement for the following position *Position: Sr. PeopleSoft Financials Developer.* *Duration: 6 months* *Location: Chapel Hill NC* Must have Experience in a Higher Education, fund accounting based environment *Senior PeopleSoft Financials Developer* The Senior PeopleSoft Developer will be responsible for supporting the production implementation of PeopleSoft for the FMS 9.1 project. The consultant will play an active role in the design, development, and testing of PeopleSoft applications within the existing FSCM solution. *Responsibilities:* • Providing effort estimates for development team work. • Delivering effective solutions on time, within budget and in adherence to development and quality standards. • Complying with the system development life cycle (SDLC). • Completing the development process including development of technical specifications and modification documentation. • Facilitating appropriate knowledge transfer within the team and business offices. • Coaching, leading, and mentoring other team members when asked. *Essential skills, knowledge and abilities (Required):* • Strong experience with PeopleSoft Financials application. • PeopleTools 8.53 or higher is required. • Provide technical development guidance as requested through full project life cycle from discovery of requirements through implementation and go live. • Strong knowledge of the PeopleSoft Toolset: Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, and SQR . • Strong SQL development skills with experience writing complex SQL routines; must have at least 5-7 years of SQL experience. • This position may include working with PeopleSoft Query, Data Mover and File Layout.
