Job Title: Engineering - Systems Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 + Months Contract
The Technical Consultant position may include requirements gathering,
customization, configuration, implementation, support, maintenance, and/or
administration of technology products. The position will require working
directly with the client and possibly light travel to the client site.
JOB DUTIES:
• Participates in full software development lifecycle, including analysis,
design, configuration, programming, and unit testing
• Lead/Create new business intelligence products in both Microsoft and
Oracle technologies.
• Work as a back-end developer, by developing backend PL/SQL scripts for
business intelligence products
• Write PL/SQL scripts for ETL Processing bringing data from sources to
company warehouse
• Create various SQL and PL/SQL scripts for verification of the required
functionalities
• Work as a front-end developer for creating highly customized company’s
products, using webpart editing, C#, JavaScript and Ajax
• Perform additional roles as an application developer and a technical
resource as needed
• Solving issues reported by clients or testers during FAT and SAT
• Perform Integration System Test, and documenting the project
• Prepare and configure web servers to ready FocalPoint products
installations
• Package and deliver complete products to client’s environments
• Mentor and train new employees to understand company base products
• Provide support for software installations, tuning for databases,
systems, and web servers
*Qualifications:*
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent
• Proven ability to conduct business analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organization skills
• Highly advantageous to have WMS (Work Management) and OMS (Outage
Management) skills
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Analytics package solutions
that include KPI’s,
• reports, charts, graphs, and spatial mapping
• PL/SQL
• Oracle
• Microsoft
• C#
• JavaScript
• Ajax
• Webpart editing
• Unix and/or Linux experience a plus
• TOAD
• FocalPoint Experience Preferred.
• Light travel: 0-25%
