Please help to fill below requirement:- Windows/Linux/Vmware ESX Duration: 8 month contract Location: San Diego, California Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server platforms: 2003, 2008 R2, 2012, Linux, Red Hat, CentOS and multi-tiered environments. Must have the knowledge to assist in supporting the different version of VMWare versions of ESX: 3.5, 4.X, 5.0, 5.1 and ESX 5.5. Hardware knowledge is required to assist in maintaining uptime and repairs for failed components on HP, Cisco, IBM and Dell platforms. Familiar with ESX hypervisor troubleshooting for network, SAN, VMTools, HW versions and host connection issues. A basic working knowledge of networking principles and the OSI model is preferred. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field or at least 5 Years of professional experience with Microsoft Windows Server technology specializing in system administration of Windows Server OS 2003 and 2008 R2. Certification is not required but encouraged. Responsibilities: Your primary function will be around Datacenter support activities that include provisioning and decommissions of physical and virtual systems (Windows, Linux, Red Hat, CentOS), Help with coordinating and scheduling virtual server migrations from legacy ESX hosts to newer versions of ESX hosts including P to V and V to V migrations. Will need to function as vendor support liaison as required.
