Job Title: CR & B
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 9 Months (Contract)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Summary:
· Reviewing the CR&B report that is generated from each DPI billing
run to determine the cause of all differences identified in the assigned
bill cases.
· Developing queries to determine all customers affected and the
amount that each customer is affected by each identified difference.
· Entering each identified defect into Quality Center (ALM) with
sufficient detail to enable the team responsible for defect resolution to
fix the issue quickly and accurately.
· Working with the defect resolution teams to insure that the CR&B
team defects are addressed in a timely manner. Good interpersonal skills
will be necessary to be successful with this task.
· Working with other CR&B team members to develop and evolve the
most effective working relationships to maximize coverage of all defects
and minimize overlap in work effort.
MUST HAVE:
· 5-10 years of Telecom experience and large scale data conversions.
· AS400 Navigation
· DPI tables and interrelationships
Required Skills:
· Analytical Skills – The ability to see trends and dig beneath a
difference to see underlying causes.
· SQL skills – The ability to take the understanding of an issue
and develop queries to determine all customers impacted by the issue.
· Interpersonal skills – This team will need to work as a team and
will need to work well with other teams.
· Willingness to work long hours and weekends as necessary to meet
team goals.
· In addition, the usage team members MUST have significant
technical experience in telephony usage.
· Strong AS/400 and RPG programming background required.
· Experience in large volumes, optimizations, building efficiencies
both in coding and in database design.
· Experience with 1-2 large data conversions, with end-to-end SDLC
experience, is preferred.
· Must be detail-oriented and can stay focused on the task at hand.
· Ability to interpret sometimes complex SQL statements used by
data mappers.
· Ability to identify, quantify, and track conversion issues found
via Quality Center.
Additional skills:
· Microsoft Excel, SQL, database design concepts, iSeries
knowledge, and excellent verbal and written English language skills.
· Well versed in Excel and XML including XSL.
