*Title: Sr. QA Test Analyst *
*Location: Birmingham, AL*
*Duration: 6+ Month*
*Rate: $38/hr on C2C*
*ISTQB Certification preferred. *
*Preferred experience in Commercial Lending/ Mortgage OR understanding of
the concept of borrower exposure, lending concepts.
*
*Roles & Responsibilities:*
· Analyze system and business process requirements and design test
strategies, test plans and test cases to ensure test coverage of mobile and
web applications.
· Write test scenarios and test cases based on business and
functional requirements
· Coordinate User Acceptance testing
· Document the test cases and test results in Client ALM
· Review the existing project documents ( Scope, Test design,
Development standards, Unit test cases/results, Integration test
cases/results & Interface functional specification document)
· Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet
business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and
identify existing or potential issues.
· Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application
testing, such as SIT , UAT
· Develop and execute manual tests at all test phases to verify
application readiness for production implementation
· Work with the project team to ensure quality throughout the
product life cycle, including the identification and resolution of software
defects
· Conduct defect meetings and meetings with the product SME’s, BA’s
and LOB’s
· Conduct testing on Agile scrum
methodology"
· Requires a four year degree in Computer Science/ Information
Technology.
· Minimum 7 years experience in software quality assurance and
analysis.
· Minimum 3 years experience in Commercial Lending/ Mortgage OR
understands the concept of borrower exposure, commercial lending concepts.
Minimum 2 years recent experience in Agile Scrum projects.
· Extensive experience in ALM and JIRA.
· Understanding of QA methodology, and the software
development/testing lifecycle.
· Ability to define test strategies, test plans, comprehensive test
cases and scripts to satisfy functionality.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive
deadlines.
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Motivated and assertive in learning and taking ownership of
projects.
· Must possess good analytical skills, and have good written and
oral communication.
· Self-starter and ability to work with minimum supervision.
· Good client interaction and presentation skills.
