Responsible for troubleshooting server problems as reported by users. Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products. Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment. Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth, installs new servers and maintains the server infrastructure. *Responsibilities: : * Ø Technical administration of MFS Changepoint application software Ø Provide guidance and usage insight of the application to MFS project managers and teams Ø Coordinate Changepoint activities with MFS teams and resources Ø Ensure timely resolution of all production issues Ø Work with business to prioritize production implementation & change activities Ø Conduct or facilitate root-cause analysis on any Changepoint issues as needed Ø Act as a liaison between resources, business Dept. and onsite IT management Ø Identify application performance improvement initiatives and implement the same Ø Responsiveness to break fix-requests Ø Application support and issue resolution Ø Plan, Test, Pilot and implement and upgrade related activities Ø Oversee account creation and maintenance including service accounts/generic accounts associated with the application *Candidate should also have the following:* Ø Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Ø Typically has 5+ years of IT work experience. Requires a high level of expertise in multiple system environments.
