For you reference, please find Job Description as under Position: BI Architect Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6 months JOB DESCRIPTION: · Experience in Architecting and Managing Data Warehousing and business intelligence projects. · Ability to work in team, good interpersonal skills, manage team members and work in a global delivery mode. · Ability to manage both Support and development projects displaying project management skills (e.g. PMP certification · Strong leading skills to manage IT operational team or a Development team including system enhancement projects. · Possesses expert critical thinking and problem-solving skills including the ability to work in ambiguous and complex environments. · Utilizes problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills to delivery in high-pressure support situations. · Expert communication skills both written and verbal allowing for creation of clear presentation and ability to build relationships. · Ability to partner with the business and internal/external IT teams. · Experience working with third-party vendors providing IT products and services. · Working knowledge of the SDLC elements (e.g. support in a validated and regulated environment) and IT service delivery elements (e.g. ITIL certification). · Ability to conduct user workshops and interactions with senior IT and business stakeholders. · SMEs and Enterprise Architects. · Strong experience in Cognos Series 8 and above (Reports -Relational/MDX), Modeling, Cubes, Metrics and Dashboards,balanced scorecards, Reports. · Strong Expertise in Datastage Version 8.7 and above. · Experience working with third-party vendors providing IT products and services. · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience required, including at least 7 years in a technical environment and 3 years in a leadership role. *Note: Please let me know if you are interested or refer any of your friends/colleagues who are interested in new opportunity.
