It should have been their primary function for several years at least in order to have sufficient experience. It will be their primary function to design and implement SCCM for us.* EDUCATION REQUIRED · Bachelors or Equivalent Experience SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Key technologies: ConfigMgr/SCCM, Windows, AD · Design, configure and manage the deployment and day to day operations of ConfigMgr 2012 R2. The key features looking to be implemented and managed for both servers and clients are: o Patch Management o Application Delivery o Asset Inventory Management o OS Deployment o Reporting and Dashboards · Engineers are systems experts in the infrastructure technologies of the client and are tasked with senior technology stewardship of the environment. Duties include; advanced problem resolution, systems upgrades and integrations with developers and business users, system resource analysis, project planning, and training operations team members in procedures. · Documentation and accurately composed written communication are requirements for all systems engineers. · Engineers work in a tightly linked team. The use of collaboration tools and the ability to succeed in an interactive and fast paced group of technology experts is required. · Ability to research and assist with the creation of enterprise class architectural designs for infrastructure technologies. · Experienced technologist able to understand complexities and interdependencies in infrastructure technologies through to the applications and client layers. · Technical document and process writer. · Works with Senior Engineers and Operations Analysts to complete project tasks.
