Job Title: Project Manager (Workday)
Location : Atlanta GA

Project Manager:
Managing multiple large or complex projects in accordance to the project
approach, structure, and charter in order to support the successful
implementation of new applications and systems based on business and
customer objectives. Typically leads/mentors less experienced PM staff on
complex projects in area of expertise. Exercises a leadership role,
ensuring the completion of projects within defined time-lines, budget
controls and quality standards. Develops planning and implementation
methodologies, working with project team, external consultants, and vendors
as necessary. Develops and manages the projects tasks and dependencies to
ensure that development activities are consistent with established I.T.
standards as well as those business objectives. Prepares management reports
summarizing resource utilization as well as how project plans are
performing against critical schedules and budgets. Assembles a project
team, identifies appropriate resources needed and develops a schedule to
ensure timely completion of project. PMP Certified. Demonstrated project
management experience in the direction of multiple large or complex
projects from beginning through execution. Demonstrated proficiency
managing projects that typically have enterprise-wide implications as well
as a highly technical complexity. Demonstrated effective verbal and written
communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining project
information and status to management, staff, and vendors. PMP Certified.
Project management experience >10 years. Need someone who can hit the
ground running with minimal guidance, based on their experience with prior
PMO processes and systems. Experience in benefits systems, Workday and
integrations would be greatly valued. Recent hands on project plan
development/management experience. No issues with this being ‘beneath’
them, if they have been higher levels roles, like PMO director, etc.
Responsible for project plan creation/maintenance, status reporting,
project budget management, resource forecasts and other duties as assigned.
