Job Title :Zenoss Support Engineer Work location : Sunnyvale, CA Start Date : ASAP Duration : 12 Months (Contract) Job description : Support of Zenoss and its integration with other event/incident/configuration management solutions. Create short, mid, and long term strategy and roadmap for Zenoss Plan, design, implement, lead Zenoss related projects Create related documentation for design, roadmap and operational procedures Provide training for operations staff and act as point of escalation for support Must have : Experience in configuring Zenoss specifically in the following areas: dding devices to be monitored both individually, as well as auto discovery Configuring devices within Impact Configuring devices for notification and integration with incident management tools such as ServiceNow Configuring device thresholds General troubleshooting of Zenoss Installation of Zen Packs Basic network technologies Ability to work independently Experience in supporting compute infrastructure as a systems administrator (UNIX, Windows, Linux) Solid understanding and practical experience with using SNMP for monitoring Practical knowledge with Python, shell, powershell Practical experience with automation and configuration management via shell scripts and 3rd party products (Ansible, Puppet, CHEF, HP Opsware Ochestrator, etc).
