We are looking for a passionate, driven and skillful Android developer to join our team and become a part of our new evolving mobile development team & the current web applications development group. The main responsibilities will include developing Android applications, which include defining, designing, and implementing on the Android SDK and NDK. A key part of the responsibilities will also include communicating & collaborating with software engineers on other mobile applications development teams, web application developers, as well as other departments including key business stakeholders in creating and executing a vision, as well as supporting the results. *Qualifications* *Education and General Experience:* - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field - Must possess minimum 3 years' experience in Android application development - Must possess solid development life cycle experience and exposure to designing and implementing complex business applications within a nimble and agile development environment - Must be able to drive efforts, be articulate and creative Applicants must be prepared to provide code samples and demonstrate applications they have previously developed and published. *Required Technical Skills:* - Must be proficient in development with Android SDK and NDK - Must have strong Java, C, & C++ programming skills - Must be familiar with Android user interface development & scaling across multiple devices - Must be familiar with File system operations, resource constrained processors (e.g. single core ARM) & multi-threaded/multi-process architectures - Must possess excellent experience in Object-Oriented and MVC/MVVM programming models - Must possess experience with web service integration (REST based, JSON, XML) - Prefer development experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 technologies - Prefer development experience with RDBMS & SQL - Prefer development experience with a variety of mobile platforms apart from Android (iOS, WP7) - Prefer to have experience debugging embedded systems where step debugging is unavailable - Good to have development exposure to hybrid mobile development stack & MADPs (Kony, Titanium, etc) Thanks...
