*Role: Embedded Security* *Location: Auburn Hills (Suburb of Detroit), Michigan* *Duration: 6 months minimum potentially this could go for one year* *Basic Qualifications:* -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, as accredited by ABET or ABET equivalent (other undergraduate level technical degrees in the specific area of relevant specialty expertise may be considered) Master's degree in Engineering, as accredited by ABET or ABET equivalent (other graduate level technical degrees in the specific area of relevant specialty expertise may be considered) -Minimum of 8 years of total work experience, with a minimum 6 years applying specialty expertise Demonstrated potential to direct, teach, lead and inspire -Highly effective at communicating technical issues -- both verbally and written -Demonstrated depth and breadth of knowledge in an area of expertise that can be applied directly to the company's needs, now and in the foreseeable future -Highly effective experienced based or analytical problem solving ability, along with ability for data manipulation and synthesis -Minimum of 2 years direct experience with automotive telematics products is required to provide overall technical vision for the research, development, design, implementation, and validation of telematics security solutions - Detailed knowledge of embedded systems, wireless communications, communications protocols, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, CDMA, GSM, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc. -Extensive experience in communication security, network security, cryptography, PKI, certificate authority, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, risk assessment, authentication, encryption, digital signature, SSL/TLS, AES, RSA, SHA, penetration testing, fuzz testing -Working knowledge of internet security best practices for service delivery platforms, both machine-to-machine, server-to-server, and server-to-vehicle interfaces *Preferred Qualifications:* -5 or more years direct experience with embedded systems security, communications security, network security, and cryptography -Strong background in embedded real-time operating systems security, including QNX and embedded Linux, software security, hardware security -Design for Six Sigma Black Belt certification Reactive Black Belt certification Ability to train and coach technical specialists and engineers -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
