System Administrators should possess an understanding of network and distributed computing concepts. This is accomplished by working with the Systems Management Team Lead to understand the scope of services to be provided and assessing the impact they will have on the technical infrastructure. *Duties* · Function as the liaison to the various support groups with whom the systems management team interfaces. · Develop the technical infrastructure maintenance strategy. · Manage the system management resources. · Act as a system’s management expert. · Analyze, determine, and document requirements in terms of system management needs and implement them. · Identify, approve, and prioritize team projects. · Manage a large site or network. · Recommend policies on system use and services * REQUIREMENTS* · Experience in managing an Enterprise Backup environment – 5+ years · Experience with EMC Networker and/or Avamar and/or Data Domain – 3+ years · Experience integration of backup infrastructure hardware and software – 3+ years · 24/7 support on rotating basis – 3+ years · Enterprise experience working in a Windows (2008/2012) environment – 3+ years · Enterprise experience and demonstrated technical proficiency in Unix/Linux Administration – 3+ years · Enterprise experience and demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft PKI – 3+ years · Experience working in a Data Center Environment – 3+ years · Experience working in Change Management atmosphere consisting of detailed policies/procedures – 3+ years · Experience troubleshooting technical issues – 3+ years · Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Required · Enterprise level Active Directory 2008/2012 Administration experience – Highly desired – 3+ years · Enterprise level IIS Administration experience – Highly desired – 3+ years · Experience working in a multi-team environment – Highly desired – 3+ years.
