Python/Perl/Ruby a plus. Experience with the design phase of database driven applications Experience with installing, configuring, designing, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining database environments. Experience with performance tuning, connection pooling, query optimization, data encryption, replication, backup/recovery, and clustering. Experinece with database optimization and scaling.
