Some other content management systems may work as well but they must be .NET based, not Java.• The Sr. Web Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining Web Solutions including client’s corporate and advisor team websites and business applications. This position will ensure that development projects are completed on schedule, with high quality, within prescribed resource limits, and in accordance with client requirements and standards. *Primary Responsibilities:* • Design and develop solutions using HTML, C#, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> and SQL Server that integrates with a variety of vendor systems or services. • Develop and deploy on a variety of software platforms and tools such as Sitecore, SharePoint and Active Batch. • Provide production support for internally developed Web solutions. • Conduct design and code reviews with architect and senior developers. • Follow client’s standards and processes such as SDLC, architecture, design and coding standards. • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept systems to validate potential solutions and to mitigate development risks early in the development process. • Assist project manager to develop detailed project estimates and work plans and ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet clients’ and users’ business needs and expectation of quality. • Own the application quality in terms of performance, usability, reliability, maintainability and extensibility. • Research, recommend, and apply new technologies if applicable. • Strive to improve technical skills as well as knowledge of business processes. • Perform related duties as assigned. *Minimum Qualifications:* • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field required. (optional) • 3-5 years Web development experience • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic.
